World Prematurity Day is observed on 17th November each year to raise awareness about preterm birth and the challenges faced by premature babies and their families.
Why are all the designs Purple? Purple is chosen for World Prematurity Day because it symbolizes sensitivity and exceptionality. The colour is often associated with compassion, care, and awareness, making it a fitting choice to represent the challenges and resilience of premature babies and their families.
Making Little Smiles have been creating Prem Day t-shirts for 6 years with each year the range getting bigger. This year we are proud to bring you our new addition of cuddly kangaroos. Kangaroos are often associated with World Prematurity Day due to the concept of “kangaroo care.”
